Data / Data Migration

Data
Migration.

Moving data is one task. Preserving its meaning is the harder one.

  1. What We Do

We move data from one system to another without breaking the structure and connections that give it meaning.

A name, date, or number can reach the new system and still become useless if it is tied to the wrong record. The data must arrive as itself.

  2. Assessment

Before moving anything, we study the old system.

We list its records, fields, rules, and the links between them. If the system has no clear map, we make one.

Then we match each field to its place in the new system.

Before the migration begins, you know what will move, where it will go, and what could fail.

  3. Approach

We decide where each field belongs, how it must change, and what must move first.

We move the data in stages. After each stage, we compare totals, test connections, and examine anything that does not match.

We also prepare a safe way back if a stage fails. Arrival is not proof of success. The result must match what we planned to move.

  4. Deliverables

You receive a migration plan, a field-by-field map, reports of every check and anything that did not match, and a final record showing what moved successfully.

The initial study and plan are yours to keep, even if you do not hire us to perform the migration.

  5. Outcomes

Your data reaches the new system with its structure, connections, and meaning intact.

The move causes less disruption. Missing or changed data is easier to spot. Your team can explain what moved, what changed, and what was left behind.
