AI Coordination

Give each AI tool a clear job.

One task may need careful reasoning. Another may need information extracted from a document, a calculation, or a check against fixed rules.

We design how work moves between AI tools, ordinary software, and people. Each step gets the instructions and information it needs.

The Nornoet Data Architect checks work passed between inspection, drafting, and quality-check stations sharing one source brief.
  1. Choose the tool around the task.

We examine the work before deciding which AI systems to use.

The choice depends on the information involved, the tools required, the quality needed, and the time and cost allowed.

Some steps benefit from a more capable AI system. Others can be handled reliably by simpler software.

  2. Carry useful context forward.

A handoff should explain the task, relevant facts, decisions already made, and what remains uncertain.

We design shared work records and focused briefs so the next tool can continue without receiving the entire conversation. Source links let it check details a summary may leave out.

Moving work between tools or providers must preserve the agreed access rules.

  3. Check each handoff.

Before a later step relies on an earlier result, the workflow checks that the required information is present and the result meets the agreed rules.

If a tool fails, returns an incomplete answer, or reaches a limit, the workflow follows a defined response. It may retry, use an approved alternative, or ask a person to decide.

  4. Measure whether coordination helps.

Using several AI tools adds work of its own.

We compare the proposed arrangement with a simpler approach using representative tasks. We examine answer quality, completed work, running cost, and time taken.

A smaller prompt does not prove the whole process is cheaper. The result has to justify the extra steps.

  5. Leave with a system your team can maintain.

The agreed build includes task assignments, context handoffs, access rules, usage limits, failure handling, and tests.

Documentation explains what each part does, why it is there, and how changes will be checked.

Skills behind the work

Build from capabilities that work together.

Work routing

Send each task to the right person, AI tool, system, or approval queue. Keep its instructions and needed information together, record each handoff, and flag work with no clear destination.

Work brief preparation

Bring the facts, dates, people, limits, source links, decisions, and open questions for a task into one useful brief. Help the next person or tool begin with the right information.

Work handoffs

Pass work between people, teams, AI tools, or project spaces with its status, evidence, decisions, deadlines, permissions, and open questions. Confirm that the next owner accepts the work.
